Second, as previously said, not all glassware is dishwasher safe because using the heat function on crystal glass may result in cracking.
Another tableware that is not dishwasher safe is gold flatware because it may lose its shine.
Wooden kitchenware shouldn’t be used in the dishwasher because long washing cycle moisture and high heat may lead to a crack, warp, and bacteria retention.
Dishes that are hand crafted or painted with designs have the tendency to peel off and wash off when used in the dishwasher so hand washing is better.
We do not advocate using nonstick pots and pans in the dishwasher unless the manufacturer recommends it since the dishwashing machine can damage the nonstick coating, exposing you to potentially dangerous chemicals.
